Vegan Sticky Lemon Tofu is WAY better than any take out and will take just as long to make as it would be to get take out. Also, then you know for sure it is gluten-free! Just make sure you use the gluten-free tamari instead of soy sauce.

I have a question please. You refer to “non stick spray” in a few of your recipes. I see it used in the “fish” sandwich here (which I *have* to try!) and it was called for in the Vegan Steak Diane Meatballs I made yesterday (which were amazing!). With the meatballs I simply put some olive oil in my hands and rolled the balls in them. I’m not fond of using sprays with the fluorocarbons. Can you tell me what you use? And is it planet friendly? Thank much! I’m so glad I found your blog! I love it!

I use the organic Pompeian Olive oil spray. It is eco friendly and has no propellants. You can definitely just use olive oil and rub it on, I just find that really difficult for something that is breaded, like the faux-fish sandwiches. The spray is just to help crisp things and brown them. So, it is optional. I just like the outcome when I do use it. I’m so glad you found me and are enjoying my recipes!!
