You refer to this as your “new” book. Does this mean you have another cookbook that I don’t know about and desperately need to own?

Congratulations Lauren. I have been a fan of Rabbit and Wolves for ages and am really looking forward to the book. Is it going to be Brit friendly? I ask because there are things in America that we can’t source over here. I know you sometimes make suggestions for substitutions on your blog 🙂

I’ve not made a single one of your recipes. I just stumbled here based on a post I saw for a peanut ramen that looked incredible, and immediately printed. Then I saw your biscuits and mushroom gravy, and immediately printed. I saw your book, and immediately preordered.

Cannot wait to get it, and make a few of your recipes! Six days in plant based and loving it, and will def be missing my southern foods I grew up with in Georgia.

Maybe the current COVID-19 Pandemic is making me view a lot of things differently, so why not my cooking/eating styles? Thank you for writing such a wonderful book.

Hi Lauren! I just got the cookbook and have made a few recipes, and I want to make the hummingbird cake next up- but my sister in law is allergic to pineapple! I was wondering if you had any good ideas for a replacement. I’m not sure which direction to go, something tropical or something sweet and tangy?

I have been eyeing this book on Amazon, but I haven’t bought it yet. I am vegan now due to health reasons- (Cancer sucks)- and after treatment days, all I crave are old comfort food favorites. I have stumbled across your blog several times now when searching for vegan recipes that are appealing while going through chemo. They have all been delicious and satisfying.

Now that I realize this is your book, I’m going to buy it. As much as I appreciate vegan cookbooks introducing totally new foods, I can’t choke down one more bibimbap or curried dish. I need comfort food! (And this is coming from someone who used to love curry.)

Thank you so much for creating these recipes. It might sound silly to you, but you have no idea how much I appreciate being able to find foods that hit the spot right now.

I just got this book for my husband for Christmas and so looking forward to checking it out! Question – are there any typos or errors in the book that you know of? I tried making the crust that called for 1 cup of butter on page 139 and just pulled my “crust” out of the oven… kinda soupy. Thinking maybe it was supposed to be half a cup of butter?! Hahah

The butter amount is correct. Did you use 2 1/2 cups of (finely) crushed graham crackers? Lauren puts them in a blender. We were thinking maybe that was the problem?
