My family loves Dave’s Hot Chicken, and they rave about the sauce and spice and everything they make, honestly. So, I decided to join them and make my own version of all their favorites. I’m starting with this vegan copycat Dave’s Hot Chicken sauce, and I got them to taste-test and confirm that it is perfect. Vegan mayo, hot sauce, agave, brown sugar, garlic powder, pickle juice, salt, and pepper are all you need to make this incredible sauce. Then you can dip, drizzle, or drink, because it is that good.
What Brands Do I Like To Use?
- Vegan mayo: I love Follow Your Heart or just the simple classic Best Foods or Hellman’s.
- Hot Sauce: I really like to use Tabasco Chipotle flavor, but any hot sauce you love will do.
This vegan copycat Dave’s Hot Chicken sauce is so good, and you will want to dip everything you make in it. French fries, crispy tofu, vegan nuggets, onion rings, and, of course, some spicy “chicken” sliders. This sauce will keep well in the fridge for weeks, and then when you run out, you can just make more!
My Favorite Things To Dip in This Sauce:
- Vegan Potato Chip Crusted “Chicken” Nuggets
- The Best Vegan Kid’s Cuisine
- Vegan Popcorn Fried “Chicken”
- Vegan Tofu Wings
- Vegan Fried Pickles
