These vegan Big Mac bowls are currently on repeat in my house, and let me tell you why. First, everyone in my household loves them. My daughter especially, and she has been asking for them once a week, at least. Second, they are comically easy, like you just season some vegan ground beef and make your Big Mac sauce. Cook some frozen fries, and throw it all together on a bed of greens with pickles and vegan cheese. It is one of the most delicious things, while also being something a toddler could make.
What You Need For These Yummy Vegan Burger Bowls:
- Vegan Ground Beef: Impossible or Beyond burger.
- Smoked Paprika, Onion, and Garlic Powder: To season the burger.
- Vegan Mayo: I like Follow Your Heart or Best Foods.
- Sweet Relish: Or dill, if you don’t like the sweetness.
- Ketchup, Mustard, and White Vinegar: For the Big Mac sauce!
- Fries: Frozen or homemade.
- Pickles: Hamburger dill chips, preferably.
- Vegan Cheese: I like to use a block that I can grate finely.
- Greens: I like to use a combo of kale, romaine, and baby spinach.
Vegan Big Mac Bowls are the perfect, tasty, fun way to get a lot of protein. The “burger”, the “cheese”, the greens-spinach and kale- and even the sauce have a bit. You can also prep all of this ahead of time and have it for a work lunch, or you can keep the sauce in the fridge and then quickly throw the bowls together for dinner. One bite of all the elements together, and you will be hooked on these vegan burger bowls like I am.

Vegan Big Mac Bowls
Ingredients
Vegan Big Mac Sauce
- 1/2 Cup Vegan mayo
- 2 Tablespoons Sweet relish
- 2 Tablespoons Ketchup
- 2 teaspoons Yellow mustard
- 1 teaspoon White vinegar
- 1/2 teaspoon Smoked paprika
- 1/4 teaspoon Garlic powder
- 1/4 teaspoon Onion powder
- 1/4 teaspoon Salt
Ground Burger
- 1 Tablespoon Olive oil
- 1 lb(16oz) Vegan beef, I used Beyond Beef
- 1/2 teaspoon Smoked paprika
- 1/4 teaspoon Onion powder
- 1/4 teaspoon Garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
For The Bowl
- 8 Ounces French fries, cooked according to package directions
- 8-9 Oz Greens, I like to use baby spinach, kale, and romaine
- 1/3 Cup Dill pickle chips
- 4 Ounces Vegan cheese, finely shredded, I used a block of Daiya Cheddar and Violife Epic Mature Cheddar
Instructions
- Make the sauce. Combine all the ingredients in a small mixing bowl, and then whisk until fully combined. Store in the fridge until ready to use.
- Make the ground burger. Heat the olive oil on medium-high in a large non-stick skillet. Add the vegan beef to the skillet, and break it into chunks with a wooden spoon. Sprinkle with the seasonings and a pinch of salt and pepper. Toss to coat evenly in the seasonings.
- Saute, reducing heat as needed, until the beef has browned, about 4-6 minutes. Taste and adjust seasonings.
- You can cook the fries while the beef cooks.
- Once everything is done, build your bowl. This will make about 4 bowls, so divide the greens into four bowls, then divide the burger and top the greens with it, then divide the fries and add them, then the pickles, and the shredded cheese.
- Drizzle the bowls with the Big Mac sauce and enjoy!
