This year, for us here at Rabbit and Wolves, it’s all about travel! We have a goal to travel around the world and show you where you can get all the best vegan eats! We started January out pretty dang strong with a food tour of Vegas. So please enjoy the best vegan food in Las Vegas that we were able to experience this time around. We will definitely be back and we will add to this list as we eat more food, which is our favorite thing to do.
The BEST Vegan Food in Las Vegas:
Catch
We decided to pick one super fancy restaurant to try out. While Catch, that’s at the Aria is not exclusively vegan, they had so many great vegan dishes and all of the side dishes can be made vegan. We absolutely loved everything! It was fun, delicious and we got to dress up! So, let’s talk about what we had.
This vegan mushroom spaghetti was one of our absolute favorite dishes of the week. It was a creamy, earthy, sweet and so well balanced. It had wild mushrooms, sugar snap peas and tomatoes. This normally comes with Parmesan, but just let them know you are eating vegan and they will be incredibly accommodating!
This vegetable king roll had king oyster mushrooms, cashews and spicy miso. It was really good, but I think we enjoyed everything else more. It was all so flavorful, it was hard to choose a fav.
Okay, this crispy cauliflower was one of my favorite things ever. It was so crispy and so saucy. I was impressed by how crispy it still was even though it was perfectly sauced. The spicy mayo it’s tossed in was outrageously delicious! We loved this dish so much. We were so excited to eat it, we forgot to take a picture until we were almost done with it.
These brussels sprouts were crispy, salty and tangy in the most delightful way. The yuzu vinaigrette was the perfect amount of acid to cut through that fried flavor. The miso was spectacular. I could have eaten like, 3 more of these bowls.
Yes, I know, these are just fries. However, they were some of the best fries. The mark of a good restaurant to me is, do they know how to make fries? And, the answer is yes at Catch. They know how to make the best fry. Served with a vegan truffle aioli that was majestic.
Last, but certainly not least, this vegan pistachio cheesecake served with coconut sorbet and black cherries. This is hands down one of the best desserts I have ever had, and I think we all agreed, even the resident non-vegan. Everything worked so well together. The cheesecake was creamy and dreamy. I just want to eat this everyday for the rest of my life.
The Coffee Class
Breakfast on our first morning was at The Coffee Class! They have all kinds of pastries, coffees and hot breakfast items. While not exclusively vegan, they have so many already vegan options. They always have vegan pop tarts, they flavors vary. They have other hot vegan breakfast items too. Plus you can make any of the coffee drinks vegan as well! So, let’s show you what we loved.
This pop tart tasted as beautiful as it looks. It was so dang good, I’ve been dreaming about it. The pastry was flaky and buttery. The filling was out of this world. The gold dusted pecans were so lovely and made my lips golden and glittery and frankly, I loved it.
This pop tart was also so good, I could cry. It was more of a standard flavor, but it was perfection. Whatever vegan pop tarts they have when you go, you can trust that they will be beyond wonderful!
This biscuit was incredible, house made and fresh! The gravy was creamy and made with Beyond sausage. It has a kick to it and that made it extra special.
I got an oat milk snickerdoodle latte and I could have had 13 more, but, that would probably make my heart explode, so I just had the one. Needless to say, get yourself a latte here. If you want something quick, I recommend a pop tart and a latte to go!
Good Morning Kitchen
More breakfast! I think breakfast food is my favorite food and our breakfast at Good Morning Kitchen was FABULOUS! Also, not exclusively vegan, this breakfast joint had so much for us vegans to choose from. So, enjoy this eye candy.
I’m a latte kinda gal, and you can get an oat milk latte with different flavors, I opted for a classic vanilla and it was excellent and they perfectly foamed the oat milk.
This vegan breakfast sandwich made with Just Egg was probably my favorite dish of the morning. It was moist and cheesy and so comforting!
Vanilla waffles, crispy AF vegan chicken and bourbon maple syrup. Nope, you aren’t dreaming and all of this can be yours. Just visit Good Morning Kitchen. I fell madly in love with this dish too. The maple syrup was thick perfection. The texture of the chicken was my favorite and the waffles would have been incredible all on their own.
If I could just have this “corned beef” to make a sandwich out of at all times, that’d be great. The rest of the hash was perfectly cooked and there was Just Egg on top. We literally didn’t have a dish here that was even just mediocre.
These vegan chilaquiles were the F’in best. They make everything in house, even the vegan sour cream!
Graze
Graze is a pretty new vegan restaurant but it absolutely should be included in the best vegan food in Las Vegas list. They have been open about 2 months, and man, oh, man. This place is worth the trip to Vegas all on it’s own. They have a lot of shareables, which I love. Amazing sounding cocktails, yummy coffees and some of the best chocolate mousse. We shared some dishes and they were definitely a major highlight of the trip.
These Korean BBQ nachos are at the very tippy top of my list of Vegas favorites. Korean BBQ soy curls, gochujang aioli, cashew queso, my lord these were devastatingly delicious. Like, close-my-eyes-and-make-weird-sounds delicious.
Chili cheese fries, oh my! Seasonal chili, cashew queso, pickled red onions that just made the whole thing incredible. This was so good, cozy and perfect for the chilly day when we were there.
Hearts of palm make up these mega yummy vegan crab cakes. And, this remoulade sauce was so good, I could drink it! These were another favorite of the day.
Julie and I both got these beautiful matcha lattes! They were the best start to our meal and I will get one every time I’m there.
This ultra creamy, smooth and velvety chocolate mousse is so dang chocolatey. Served with whipped cream and berries, it felt decadent, but light and we LOVED it!
The Modern Vegan
So, this was the 4th time I’ve been to The Modern Vegan, so I guess you can say, I really, really like it. However, it was Julie’s first time, and I was excited to share it with her! When just about anyone thinks of the best vegan food in Las Vegas, they mention TMV. The options are incredible, the menu is huge and I have not had anything I didn’t fall head over heels for. Please, if you’re in Vegas hit up this super cool spot. Full bar, comfort food, desserts that are anything but ordinary.
This vegan Reuben was the yummiest take on a classic sandwich. I loved it! It was well balanced and so lovely.
A breaded and fried house made chicken cutlet, tossed in a hot dry rub. I ordered this one time and loved it so much I recommended Julie get it and she was very pleased as well.
We shared these fries drenched in cheese, peppers, lettuce and sour cream! All vegan of course and they really hit the spot.
Okay, you may want to sit down, this dessert is aptly named Holy Hell! Peanut butter chocolate chip cookie dough, vanilla ice cream, chocolate sauce, chocolate chips and powdered sugar. Holy Hell indeed. We devoured this!
Nacho Daddy
While Nacho Daddy is another not strictly vegan restaurant, they seem like they love vegans! So many options with several kinds of vegan nachos, tacos and all kinds of things! I also splurged and got myself a Mexican candy margarita, and it was a very good idea.
This is arguably not the prettiest picture, but that’s because we immediately started chowing down on them. We really couldn’t stop ourselves, they smelled so good and we were pretty hungry. But these were perfect in every way!
These tacos were amazing too! Smoky, spicy, salty goodness and the “chicken” was the best too. There are so many other options there, I highly recommend checking it out.
Tacotarian
This adorable all vegan taco joint Tacotarian has multiple locations and we tried a lot of dishes and they were all out of this world! They have so many tacos, all kinds of platters, margaritas, agua frescas and so much more.
This vegan queso fundido was served with warm tortillas and we loved it. It had mushrooms and poblano peppers. The vegan cheese was so melty and I would never know it was vegan!
These amazing birria tacos where served with their vegan take on a consume and it was perfection!
Seitan, achiote, cilantro cream, pineapple and salsa! I think this taco reined supreme and was my favorite.
Seitan, guacamole and pico. This taco was also incredible! I honestly don’t think there is a less than 10/10 taco at Tacotarian.
Unique and so yummy, this Dorado taco is deep fried, filled with mashed potatoes, cheddar, lettuce, pico and crema!
Julie LOVES mushrooms and had this mushroom asada taco. We each got a three taco platter, and she enjoyed hers immensely!
She also got this chorizo taco that is soy chorizo, pico and queso fresco. All the 3 taco platters also come with beans and rice!
Julie’s third taco was this excellent plantain con mole taco. Plantains, traditional mole, pickled red onion, sesame and crema! Let’s be real, everything we ate was top drawer and I would probably eat there every day if I could.
Tiabi
Tiabi is a coffee and waffle restaurant and while not exclusively vegan, they have many vegan options. Everything from the all the coffees to the waffle offerings, are to die for. Waffles are one of my favorite foods, so this was a paradise to me.
This maple bacon waffle was sooooo dang good. Sweet and salty and they even ask if you want vegan butter on it!
This vegan viva Las Elvis was my favorite of all the waffles we tried, but I’m definitely a sweet breakfast lover. Peanut butter, bananas, vegan bacon. It’s delish!
This vegan breakfast sandwich is more for the savory lover and on par for Julie! She loves her some vegan savory breakfast sandwiches and this did not disappoint. Vegan bacon, egg and cheese with avocado. This one was also super delightful. I don’t think you’ll be able to get a bad meal at Tiabi! We loved every second of our time there. And I must highly recommend getting some coffees as well. My favorite was the Tiff’s waffle macchiato. Just ask for it to be vegan!
So, that is our round up of the best vegan food in Las Vegas for now. We will be heading back for sure, and will update this list as we try more food! We had the best time and hope this list is helpful to you guys! Please let us know if you have any recommendations for places for us to check out. We want to know about all the best vegan food in Las Vegas!
