As a vegan, one of the most important things to me, is showing people how flavorful vegan food can be. With that comes the need for the perfect sauces, toppings, and anything that enhances the dish you have already created. That is where the best mango salsa comes into play. Use it to top so many dishes, from taco bowls, tofu, seitan, loaded fries and so much more.
What You Need For this Perfect Mango Salsa:
- Fresh Mango: Fresh is essential.
- Jalapeno: Also fresh, chopped, seeds removed.
- Red Onion: This gives the salsa such a nice spice along with the jalapeno.
- Lime Juice: I recommend using freshly squeezed.
- Cilantro: I know some people hate cilantro, so you could skip it, but I love cilantro!
- Peppers: Sweet or bell.
- Garlic: Grated.
The best mango salsa goes so well with my cilantro lime tofu! This five minute recipe has so much punch and versatility. Here are my other serving suggestions: Spicy tofu with green sauce, Vegan street corn “chicken” bowls, Vegan Cuban-Inspired Steak, or just devouring with some tortilla chips!
