The Best Easy Vegan Pizza Dough

Only 6 ingredients will make you the best vegan pizza dough EVER!

Ingredients

  • 3/4 Cup Warm water(about 110 degrees)
  • 2 1/4 teaspoons Active dry yeast
  • 2 teaspoons Organic cane sugar
  • 2 Tablespoons Olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 2 Cups All purpose flour + more as needed.

Instructions

  • In a large mixing bowl or the bowl of a stand mixer, pour in the warm water. Then sprinkle the yeast and then the sugar into the water.
  • Let sit for about 5 minutes or until the yeast has bloomed. It will be bubbly and frothy.
  • Now add the olive oil and salt and begin to stir together, either with a wooden spoon or with the dough hook attachment for the stand mixer.
  • Then start adding the 2 cups of flour a little at a time, continuing to stir or while the dough hook is running.
  • Once the flour has all been added, begin to knead or let the dough hook run until the dough comes together and is a smooth ball. This will take a few minutes.
  • Once you have formed a ball, make sure it is no longer sticky, adding a tablespoon more or so of flour if the dough is still sticky, continue to knead for another 1 to 2 minutes.
  • Remove the dough ball from the bowl, spray the bowl with non-stick spray and then put the dough ball back in the bowl.
  • Cover the bowl with a kitchen towel, and let rise in a warm dry place(I like to preheat my oven to 200 degrees(F) and then turn the oven OFF and let the dough rise in the oven), for about 1 hour or until the dough has doubled in size.
  • Once the dough has risen, turn the dough out onto a floured surface and then either roll out one large pizza, cut in two and make 2 medium pizzas or cut into 3 or 4 for small personal pizzas.
  • Roll the dough out to any thickness you like your pizza crust.
  • Place on a pizza pan, top with your favorite toppings and bake at 450 degrees(F), for 10 to 15 minutes!
