Line an 8x8 or 9x9 baking dish with parchment paper.
Now, I make the cracker crumbs in the food processor. Just make sure you have 1 1/2 cups of crumbs.
Then add the melted butter, peanut butter, powdered sugar and salt to the food processor with the cracker crumbs. Then pulse the mixture in the food processor until the mixture is smooth. Set aside.
Now, make the chocolate layer. Melt the chocolate. You can either melt using a double boiler, Or, I usually just melt the chocolate in 30 second intervals in the microwave, stir after each 30 seconds, until the chocolate is melted.
Add the peanut butter to the chocolate and whisk until fully combined and smooth.
Pour half the chocolate into the bottom of the baking dish. Smooth out evenly.
Chill for about 5 minutes in the freezer.
Now, pour the peanut butter layer over the chocolate and smooth out evenly.
Pour the remaining chocolate over the top of the peanut butter layer and smooth it out evenly. Sprinkle with sea salt if desired.
Chill in the fridge for about 3 hours. Then cut into squares and serve.
Keep in the fridge.
