    Vegan Pecan Pie Smoothie

A smoothie that tastes just like pecan pie? Yes, please!

What’s that? You really feel like you need pecan pie for breakfast? Okay, great! I see we are on the same page. This smoothie tastes just like sippin’ on some pecan pie. However, it is vegan, gluten free and refined sugar free. So, you can feel much better about drinking this smoothie. Rather than just adding a whole piece of pie to a blender. I won’t lie, I have been known to do that though.

Smoothies are usually one of my go to quick breakfasts. I have been really into adding nut butters to my smoothies recently and then had an idea. A brilliant idea I might add. Pecans in a smoothie! Oh. My. God. A pecan pie smoothie! The addition of oats, cinnamon and maple syrup make this a pecan pie lovers dream come true!

This smoothie can also be the base flavor, and you can add all kinds of other healthy tidbits! I made this one with flax seed, but chia seeds would be a great inclusion. I absolutely love the texture of this vegan pecan pie smoothie. I am really into thick and creamy smoothies, and the mixture of pecans, oats and flax make this a super awesome thick treat!

Fall is the perfect time to get your pecan pie smoothie on! It will definitely get you into the fall spirit. The best meals are ones that require one step, and this hearty and filling breakfast has got you covered!

Just a few easy to find ingredients, and of course no corn syrup! No, you are not dreaming. You can make this your own, fancy it up a bit with maybe a little vanilla. Or have it for dessert by switching out some of the almond milk with a little non dairy vanilla ice cream! The world is your oyster(vegan oyster, that is).
